I have gone out solo too many times. I have seen too many people out solo too many times. That doesn't need to be the case. People are itching to go out and are not always able to find someone to go out with. Sounds simple but it's quite complicated. There are several factors that go into going out - timing, babysitting, boredom, spontaneity, and exploration. The lockdowns changed behaviors. Too many people hide behind the technology curtain. Technology makes it too easy to feel real relationships exist inside of technology. An example is the anonymity of chat apps like Reddit, online gaming platforms, Metaverse of the Future, and even SMS and WhatsApp. Although it’s great to chat and have video conferences as a better-than-nothing scenario, it’s hard to put a price tag on the value of in-person socialization. Ever wanted to grab a drink, go to a bar, club, or dinner, and didn’t feel like going alone? Are you an avid traveler and find yourself solo at the airport, train, or transport bars? Have you ever found yourself in a new town for work or travel and wanted to see who was already out and about?
