Hello, Leul here. the idea for bank statement converter came to me because I had a local business and had to deal with accounting works which takes time or maybe it’s because i was a newbie but i tried manually inputting my bank statements data into excel and it took me forever. So i asked around and a lot of people also have the same pain points ( this was about a year ago) then i tried making a simple tool that just converts bank statement to excel but after a couple of tries i stopped because my business closed and i didn't think it was a good business anyways but about 2 weeks ago i happen to watch an episode of Pat walls, starter story about a guy making $40k/m just by offering a service that convert bank statements which is basically a PMF. So since i already have an MVP of a tool that does exactly that, i just cloned the repo again and started building
What makes my bank statement different than the other tools out there?
1, Users can convert up to 5 statements at the same time
2, Have the option to merge all those converted files and download them in a clean single Excel(XLSX) or CSV
3, Also built a receipt converter feature which have all the same features as the bank statement converter
4, Users can also upload PNG, JPG file format not just PDF only
This could literally save accountants, bookkeepers, and small business owners hours of manual data entry
With all that being said, the product is still in the early stages so i would appreciate any feedback and opinions that you have for me. I will be dedicating my time to making the tool even more better.
