We searched online — every tool either had a watermark, asked for payment to download, or required creating an account just to get a PDF. For something as personal as a marriage biodata that families share with each other, that felt wrong. The problem I was solving: In India, a marriage biodata is not just a document — it's the first impression your family makes. Yet every free tool online either stamps a watermark on it or locks the good templates behind a paywall. Families in smaller towns and villages shouldn't have to pay ₹500 just to make a dignified biodata. How the product evolved: I started with one template and basic fields. Then I realised how diverse India actually is — a Telugu Hindu family needs a different biodata than a Bengali Muslim family or a Punjabi Sikh family. So I added religion-specific invocation slogans, horoscope fields for Hindu families, 9 language UI, and 19 templates across three collections. The biggest decision was keeping it 100% client-side — your name, photo, family details never touch any server. Ever.
