Backup for Claude: The project export Claude doesn't have

Claude's own export is a ZIP of raw JSON. Every conversation you have ever had, flattened, no project structure, no artifacts as files, no knowledge files. If you have spent months building a project in there, what you get back is not really your project. I hit this myself and could not find anything that solved it, so I built the thing I wanted. The interesting part turned out to be the artifacts. Claude does not store a finished file anywhere. It stores the original creation, then a stream of individual edits, each one a find and replace. To get the final version you have to replay every edit in order against the original. Conversations are also trees, not lists, so if you have ever edited a message you have branches, and rendering the wrong one gives you a transcript that never happened. It runs entirely in your browser using the session you are already signed into. No servers, no analytics, no account. I do not have your data because there is nowhere for it to go.
