I had a challenge where I needed to meet some contractual obligations around backing up everything we had up, and discovered that there wasn't a good solution to doing this for Bitbucket. I didn't want to rely on our git repository backups being on developer machines, and I wanted to be sure that we had a robust solution in place to restore should the worst happen, either from a service failure or a malicious actor.
