I built Axes after noticing a big gap in how people interact with markets and information. Most prediction and trading platforms are either inaccessible, region-locked, overly financialized, or built for power users — not for curious people who simply want a clear way to express belief, uncertainty, or conviction about real-world outcomes. The core problem I wanted to solve was making markets simple, transparent, and global — without custodians, opaque intermediaries, or confusing UX. I wanted something that feels as intuitive as placing an opinion, yet as powerful as a real market. During the build, my approach evolved a lot. I initially focused heavily on infrastructure and mechanics (AMMs, settlement, resolution), but quickly realized that UX and trust matter more than complexity. That pushed me to rethink flows, reduce friction, and design interactions that feel obvious even if you’ve never touched crypto or prediction markets before. Axes is still early, and this launch is about learning as much as it is about shipping.
