There is so much to do on a website these days and so many different tools to use, it gets brutal trying to put something good together. Most of my time was sucked up configuring plugins, editing themes, and generally baby sitting WordPress. I always started with good intentions and ended up with a mess and frustration. This was supposed to be fun.
Sure getting a basic site was easy, but I wanted to do some real marketing on top of that site. Stuff like newsletters, events, galleries, profiles, all integrated and simple. In WordPress, it took hours just to get the plugins and themes to play nice. Then I still had to set up MailChimp, build templates to match my theme and copy content over. Ugh, thats boring. In AwareLabs, it took minutes to set up EVERYTHING in ONE PLACE and I had traffic the next day.
So if you're kinda tired of never getting to the good part of a website, the marketing... If you're tired of setting up 15 different tools and accounts to do a simple site right... Try it, you'll be surprised how fun building a site can be when the CMS is designed to get out of your way.
