Upvote if you believe marketplaces CAN be more ethical. As e-commerce entrepreneurs hustling for income, Avoy's founders have been through it. Reserves hit out of nowhere, and our hard earned money held hostage for months – ugh! When there are problems with an item or shipping, for some reason, we were assumed wrong. This sort of thing happened at Etsy, eBay, Amazon, and other marketplaces despite bringing them thousands in sales. Our ability to make a living was at stake. We did not have anyone to help and were left a frustrating feeling that we were replaceable with whichever other seller walked through the door. There are millions of other dedicated, amazing entrepreneurs in our same boat. That’s why we came up with Avoy--a shared ownership marketplace where sellers are treated as partners from day one. Here's why sellers are joining Avoy: • You earn more... commission costs only, there are no listing or monthly fees. We grow when you grow. • Avoy puts resources toward acquiring more customers and bringing shops revenue. • You can get real stake in the business and have a say in decisions. Our guidelines are co-created with sellers. No need to worry about Avoy marketplace ever squeezing sellers or implementing unreasonable policies. • Avoy verifies and vet sellers at the beginning, which increases overall quality and reduces the risk of scams and copycats. • Avoy's onboarding team takes on the hassle of setting up by importing your items and drafting content for you.... if you want 🙂 Discover more at www.avoy.org and join our growing cooperative marketplace!

@juliembai This sounds like an new style of marketplace and while walking through the marketplace I have several questions. As a lead software, product developer I've been facing several issues like when it comes to verification. What we have to do when seller wants to use others payment account for selling. And I think it would be better to have products tabs to go to shop page in the landing page. Seller registration form still looks awkward. If possible I'd love to have a chance to schedule a call to have a discussion more about in detail. Thanks!
