That’s how Avelia was born—named after the idea of a digital companion that truly understands your local environment. What problem am I solving? Most AI tools are trapped in the cloud, blind to your local files and system tools. Avelia bridges this gap. It’s built for creators who need more than a chatbot—it’s for those who need a Desktop AI Agent that can: Manage deep-directory files and professional documents autonomously. Execute complex desktop automations via 30+ built-in drivers (PowerShell, UIAutomation, etc.). Orchestrate a team of specialized Agents (Coders, Designers) to collaborate on a shared local workspace. Stay connected via mobile (Telegram/Lark) so you can trigger desktop tasks from anywhere. How has my approach evolved? Initially, I focused heavily on the "Live2D" table-pet aesthetic. However, through development and internal testing, I realized that local execution is the real productivity. I shifted my focus to building a robust "Node" system—local execution units that handle heavy-duty tasks like A/V generation and SSH management securely. We also moved from simple memory to a sophisticated long-term vector-based system (LanceDB) to ensure Avelia actually grows smarter the more you use it.
