@avalegerย Upvoted. Bringing invoicing, bookkeeping, and client management into one workflow makes a lot of sense for small business owners who already wear too many hats. I'm curious, how do you keep financial records accurate when users edit or override AI generated entries?
@spotch_founderย Great question โ this was a core design decision.
The AI never has the final word. Imported transactions sit as "unreviewed," and category suggestions are deterministic and explainable your own history with that merchant first, then known-merchant data, then the bank's category. Nothing hits your P&L until you confirm it (or a rule you set up adds it).
Your corrections become the strongest signal. When you override a category, future suggestions for that merchant follow your choice. The system learns from edits instead of fighting them.
Once you've decided, it's final. After you review, match, or reconcile a transaction, automation can never change it. And if a deposit is already tied to an invoice, no rule can count it again, so income is never counted twice.
Your bank statement is the final check. You reconcile your books against the actual statement, and the numbers must match before you can finish, so anything off gets caught each statement.
