I've hit this problem twice. First in college, hardcoding certificates for 5,000 tech-fest participants. Then years later, for a 140-student bootcamp cohort — I had a template and a spreadsheet, and figured it'd take 10 minutes. Instead I spent an evening copy-pasting names one at a time. Around student forty I went looking for a tool that could just merge the two. All I found was expensive enterprise mail-merge platforms, or desktop tools that hadn't been updated since 2014.
So I built AutoPDF: upload a PDF template, upload your Excel sheet, drag fields onto the page and map them to columns, then generate the whole batch in one click — download a ZIP or share a link, no account needed. Still just me building it. Would love for you to try it on a certificate run, invoice batch, or offer letters, and tell me what's missing.
Mapped a simple offer letter template with an Excel of names and addresses and it spat out clean, properly filled PDFs almost instantly. Way easier than messing with mail merge in Word.

Honestly, this is way faster than the mail merge setup I was using before. Dropped in a template and a spreadsheet and had like 40 offer letters ready in under a minute, which kind of blew my mind.
