Yo! What's going on fam. The story behind Automating Humanity is this: I was a consultant for Google until June 2017. I left due to ethical concerns—not just within Google, but within the industry. And I believe the only way we get through the issues we're facing today is by having a transparent conversation about whats going on. There are 4 parts to this book: Part 1: WTF is Happening (deets about the industry) Part 2: How Did We Get Here? (logic) Part 3: What Could Be (the future, and what's actually good about tech) Part 4: How Do We Get There? (a scope of what needs to be regulated and how we can do it in a way that doesn't damage innovation) Automating Humanity is my best attempt at defining WTF is going on in a way everyone can pick up and enjoy. I've been told it reads like a dystopian novel, but it's all based on facts. I hope you pick it up, but please let me know if you have and questions/comments/concerns before doing so! :)
