Having managed a lot of Macs (tens of thousands) over the years, we noticed that a lot of Mac Admins spend a lot of time testing, troubleshooting, and preparing third-party applications for installation and update. A lot of this is low-value time that is replicated across the entire industry. For example, just about every organization has to package an update to Google Chrome and upload it to their specific MDM solution. This is just wasting hours of productivity when you multiply that time spent a few times every month across thousands of organizations that use Google Chrome on Mac.
