Autohype is a music promo marketplace with a radical gimmick: real humans, public prices, and your money held until the work ships. No bots, no "guaranteed streams", no fairy tales.
honestly the escrow idea is genuinely smart, but one thing that would help me trust it more is some kind of public review thread attached to each promo where the artist can leave feedback after delivery. like a permanent record on the promoters profile so you can see real outcomes, not just star ratings. would make the marketplace feel way more accountable
Love the escrow concept, that alone builds a ton of trust. One thing I'd suggest adding is a public ratings page for each human promoter showing completed campaigns, average delivery time, and response rate, so buyers can compare people side by side before committing money. Right now I have no real way to judge if someone delivers good results before paying, so a quick sample reel or a portfolio snippet linked to each listing would go a long way.

Posted a small gig last week and actually got matched with a real curator who quoted me upfront, escrow gave me some peace of mind compared to the usual "trust me bro" promos I've tried before.
Curators could attach a short portfolio snippet or two of their past placements so you can actually hear what kind of promotion style you're buying before you commit. Right now the listings feel a bit opaque, especially for newer curators without a long public track record.
