AutoChart auto-scrolls your TradingView watchlist, hands-free. Set an interval, press Start, and scan 100 charts while your coffee brews. Your drawings and indicators stay untouched.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Chris, the solo dev behind AutoChart.
I trade on TradingView with a watchlist of ~150 symbols. Every morning before market open, I'd spend 20 minutes clicking through charts one by one load, look, click, wait, load, look, click. That's not analysis. That's just clicking.
I tried automating it a few ways, but every approach either wiped my drawings or required permissions I wasn't comfortable granting. So I built AutoChart.
The core idea is embarrassingly simple: set an interval, press Start, and TradingView advances through your watchlist automatically. Your trendlines, indicators, and drawings stay exactly where you put them - because AutoChart changes the URL parameter instead of clicking the DOM. TradingView's own router does the rest.
What surprised me while building it: the small UX details turned out to matter the most.
Pausing with Space and still seeing the exact countdown remaining
Starring a chart mid-scroll with Shift+Space to come back to it
The completion card that shows charts scanned, time taken, and how many minutes you saved vs. clicking manually
None of those were in the original spec. They came from actually using the thing every morning.
On pricing: it's $29 one-time through the Chrome Web Store. No subscription, no account creation, no analytics, no data ever leaves your browser. I wanted to build a genuinely useful tool, charge a fair price once, and not turn it into a SaaS.
If you're on TradingView with more than 20 symbols in your watchlist, I'd love for you to try it. And I'm genuinely curious - what does your current pre-market chart review routine look like? What would make this fit better into your workflow?
I'll be here all day responding to every comment.
