Auto Motion Studio is a local-first Windows video editor that combines guided automation with precise multi-track control. It analyzes footage, removes silence, generates captions, balances audio, corrects color, adds impact effects, records narration, and remembers editing preferences. Switch between Standard, Dual Monitor, Timeline Focus, and Thumbnail Design workspaces. Includes 100 CC0 BGM tracks, English/Japanese UI, voice-synthesis support, and built-in or connected local AI.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m the maker of Auto Motion Studio.
I built Auto Motion Studio because video creators are often forced to choose between two extremes: fast automatic editors with very little control, or professional editors that require many repetitive manual steps. This application is designed to bring both approaches into one local-first Windows workspace.
The workflow starts with guided automation. Auto Motion Studio can analyze imported footage, detect and remove silent sections, generate captions, balance and enhance audio, correct color, add impact effects, suggest an editing plan, and prepare the project for review. The result remains editable instead of becoming a locked one-click export.
For precise work, the editor includes a multi-track timeline and four purpose-built workspaces:
- Standard keeps media, preview, inspector controls, narration, and the timeline visible together.
- Dual Monitor places the source and program views side by side for detailed comparison.
- Timeline Focus gives more space to the preview and tracks for timing-intensive edits.
- Thumbnail Design provides templates, text, shapes, layers, crop controls, and recommended frames in a dedicated canvas.
Audio and narration are part of the same workflow. You can record narration inside the editor, use voice-synthesis tools, adjust audio, and choose from 100 built-in CC0 BGM tracks without searching for separate music files.
Auto Motion Studio is local-first: media and core editing can remain on the PC. It supports built-in and connected local AI options, remembers editing preferences with user control, and provides both English and Japanese interfaces.
It is intended for creators, small teams, educators, product demonstrators, and anyone who wants automation without giving up manual control.
