Hey Product Hunt — I built Authored because AI-assisted drafts often create a strange gap: the words look finished before the writer has genuinely made the thinking, structure, and voice their own. Authored does not grade text with an “AI detector,” hide provenance, or promise detector evasion. It asks the writer for the decisions only they can make—what they mean, what they know, what they stand behind, and how they want to sound—then reconstructs the document around those choices. Today it supports: • full-document import (PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown) • translation and reconstruction in one workflow • saved voices and reusable templates • editable DOCX and reconstructed PDF output where layout permits • private, linkable process receipts • API and remote MCP access for integrations There’s a free tier, and the product is live now.
