Last month I got fired. Embracing my new found freedom, I spent two intense weeks building a tool that reliably converts Australian bank PDFs into clean CSVs.

If you’ve ever tried converting a bank statement, you know the pain: columns drift, multi-line descriptions break, and nothing lines up. Existing converters just don’t handle it. I wanted one that actually works.

Trust and privacy were key. Every file is processed in real time with no storage.

It’s built with Python and tailored to the quirks of major Aussie banks like CommBank, Westpac, UBank, and ING. ANZ and NAB are coming soon. I focused on doing a few really well rather than many poorly.

It’s been amazing seeing how many people this helps, from accountants to founders who just want to see their bank data cleanly in a spreadsheet.
