I built this because there's so much space weather data to look at, it can be overwhelming for those interested in knowing if "tonight is the night." Every time there was a big solar storm on the way, I'd check 3-4 different sites, see a Kp-index number, and still have no idea if I'd actually see anything from my backyard, because none of them accounted for whether it'd even be clear outside. This pulls in cloud model data alongside the geomagnetic activity, and gives you an actual visibility percentage for your specific ZIP or postal code, not just a regional guess. You'll also get alerts the moment a new solar storm is detected as Earth-directed, and again when it actually arrives, so you know exactly when it's worth stepping outside.
