AuraLock takes a different approach to focus. Instead of asking which apps to block, you choose which apps stay available during your Aura. Everything else steps out of the way, helping you create a calmer, more intentional phone experience. Create sessions, choose your essential apps, set a duration, and stay focused on what matters. Built with a whitelist-first philosophy, AuraLock is designed to help you set boundaries without turning your phone into a productivity prison.
Hey Product Hunt! ๐
I'm Durga, the founder and developer behind AuraLock.
I built AuraLock because I kept seeing the same approach in focus apps: they ask you to make a list of everything you want to block.
I wanted to try the opposite.
What if, instead of focusing on what you want to remove, you simply choose what you want to keep?
With AuraLock, you create an Aura, choose the apps that matter for that moment, and let everything else step out of the way.
The goal isn't to make your phone feel restrictive or turn your day into a productivity competition. I wanted to create a calmer, more intentional relationship with technology.
AuraLock is built for Android, with the experience powered by React Native and native Android functionality.
I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially on the core idea:
Would you rather choose the apps you want to blockโor choose the apps you want to keep available?
Thanks for checking out AuraLock ๐
