Hey everyone 👋 I built Aura File Transfer Manager because I was frustrated with the limitations of the default Windows file transfer experience — especially during massive transfers, interrupted copies, duplicate conflicts, and slow verification. Aura is a modern Windows file transfer manager focused on speed, reliability, and control. It supports parallel transfers, resumable copies, hash verification (XxHash3 + SHA-256), detailed conflict handling, Windows Explorer integration, Ctrl + V interception, and a fully redesigned Windows 11-style interface. Some features I’m personally most proud of: • Parallel transfers up to 10 files simultaneously • Resume interrupted transfers instead of restarting from 0% • “Paste with Aura” directly inside Windows Explorer • File integrity verification with ultra-fast XxHash3 • Smart duplicate handling with Apply-to-All actions • Separate live transfer windows with detailed progress and logs This project was built as a solo indie effort and I’d genuinely love feedback from people who regularly move large files, work with external drives, media assets, backups, or just want a better alternative to the default Windows copy dialog.
