Hi everyone, I'm Mehdi. I get through about 100 audiobooks a year and I listen at 1.75x. Before starting a long one I always wanted to know how much time it would actually cost me at that speed, and doing 13 divided by 1.75 in my head never really worked out. So I made this. You put in the length of the book and your speed, and it gives you your real listening time and how many hours you're saving. It's free and there's no signup. I also added a few things people kept asking me about, like how long a 10-hour book runs at 1.5x, a rough finish date, and a chart of the usual speeds. What I'd really like is to hear what would make it more useful for you. If something's missing, I'm happy to build it.
