You've built your own performance review system and you don't want to move off it. Attuned sends two things into it via API: each person's 11 intrinsic motivators, and suggested wording for harder conversations. We work to your schema and field names.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Casey here, founder of Attuned.
💡 Why we built this
Attuned has been running inside enterprise teams for years, including Nissan, Daihatsu, Suzuki and UiPath. We measure what actually motivates people at work. There are eleven motivators, everyone takes one assessment, and managers get to see why two people on the same team react completely differently to the same message.
But something changed in how companies run performance reviews. Building your own used to be a serious engineering project. AI made it cheap enough that HR can push one through in a few weeks. And once a company has built its own system, it doesn't want to migrate into someone else's platform.
🔌 What that looks like
Attuned as a headless API. You keep your schema, your UI, your HRIS as the system of record. We write two fields into the review you already have:
-What drives this person, ranked across the 11 motivators
-The specific wording a manager should use, generated from the gap between their profile and the manager's
A manager writes "needs to be more proactive about communicating" in someone's review. Probably fair, but it's not something the person can easily act on.
From their assessment we already know this person is high on Feedback, so they need regular input from their manager to stay motivated, and they hadn't been getting much. That's usually why a member goes quiet. So what we hand the manager is something they can actually say: "You've been working on your own since March and I haven't given you enough input. Let's do fifteen minutes every Friday."
💬 What we'd love from you
If you've built your own review system: would you want this written straight into your database, or delivered as a file you review before it goes in?
And whether you've built your own or not: what's your review process actually running on right now? Spreadsheet, HRIS, or something your team put together?
Happy to answer anything in the comments!
