Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Mohamad, one of the makers behind Attend-Go. This started as a graduation project, but we refused to let it die after the presentation. Over 95% of CS graduation projects are abandoned the moment the committee signs off. Zero users. Zero impact. Forgotten on a hard drive. We didn't want to be part of that statistic. So when our team picked a project, we had one rule: solve a real problem. We started with what we knew...our own college. Every class began with the same ritual: a teaching assistant pulling out a paper sheet, calling out full names one by one to distinguish between similar names. Doing it again next section. And again. Nearly an hour a day lost to paperwork across the campus. And at the end of the semester? Manually counting absences from stacks of paper. We thought: what if attendance just... happened? So we built Attend-Go. A browser-based kiosk where attendees walk up to any camera and check in with their face in under a second. No fingerprint scanners. No RFID. No specialized hardware. Some technical bits I'm proud of: 🧠 128D face embeddings extracted client-side in <200ms ⚡ pgvector cosine search matches & marks attendance in ~150ms 🎙️ Voice enrollment: register through an AI conversation, zero typing 🔒 Production security: RLS, hashed API keys, rate limiting, CSRF protection 🤖 Built-in MCP server: AI tools like Claude can manage your attendance directly We started by solving our own problem at college, then expanded to serve startups, training centers, events, and growing teams. Of course, bringing Attend-Go to the world in such a fast, user-friendly, and highly secure form wouldn't have been remotely possible without this incredible team. Every piece of the puzzle mattered. It started with Amjad Mohamed designing a seamless UX/UI, which Abdelrawf Mostafa and Mohamed Ahmed brilliantly brought to life as a blazing-fast frontend. Behind the scenes, Mohammady Khalid laid down a rock-solid infrastructure and database foundation, while Ahmad Alaa took our system to the next level with his AI engineering. And because security was non-negotiable for us, we had an elite defense line: Ahmed Belal driving our strategy as the Security Lead, Abdullah Mohy rigorously stress-testing our limits in Offensive Security, and Mahmoud Said locking everything down on the Defensive Security front.
