I'm Kartikeya, the indie developer behind ATS Scanner Pro.

I built this because I noticed something frustrating about the job application process.

You find a job that looks perfect, spend hours preparing your resume, submit your application, and still have very little idea whether your resume actually matches what the employer is looking for.

Most resume checkers give you a generic score. But a generic score doesn't tell you what you're missing for the specific job you're applying to.

I wanted to build something more useful.

That's why I created ATS Scanner Pro.

The idea is simple:

Upload your resume.
Paste the actual job description.
Get a job-specific analysis showing matched keywords, missing keywords, formatting risks, and prioritised improvements.

A few things I wanted to get right from the beginning:

• Completely free to use.
• No account or registration required.
• Supports PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT and RTF.
• Results in approximately 10–20 seconds.
• Privacy-first processing, with personal information redacted before AI analysis.

I'm also trying to be honest about what an ATS score means. There isn't one universal ATS system or score used by every employer. Our score is an estimate of how well your resume aligns with a particular job description, not a guarantee of interviews.

I built this independently, and there's still plenty I want to improve.
