I've always been fascinated by dreams!
While Twitter is what people are willing to post publicly during their waking hours, dreams represent what you are thinking about subconsciously! Despite this fascination, I sucked at keeping up with a dream journal! I was really excited about using AI to reduce the friction of keeping a dream journal. With Astroplane, you can just wake up bleary eyed and say your dream out loud and the app transcribes it in the background and gives you an AI generated dream interpretation, image of the dream (hopefully video when the costs to generate AI video come down!), and analytics about your dreams over time. I'm also excited to extend the platform to help people find people who have similar dreams to them (!) and learn how to lucid dream!

Cool idea! We'll finally be able to know why millions of ppl dream about Nicolas Cage ; more seriously, would be super interesting for it to become the 23&me of science backed dream interpretation, linking self reported dreams to other data to find interesting correlations:
- apple watch/oura heart-rate monitors + accelerometer (free-falling in a dream <-> falling from bed ?)
- time alignment with sensor data to check whether we indeed dream faster than real-time
- impact of diet/stress level on dreams (personal experience: cabbage => super vivid dreams)
