AstroMentor started with a simple frustration: despite thousands of astrology apps, most either provide generic daily horoscopes or overwhelm users with long birth chart reports full of terminology they don’t understand. If you’re new to astrology, it’s difficult to know where to start. If you’re more experienced, you’re often forced to jump between multiple tools to get meaningful insights. We believed there was a better way. Our vision was to create an AI mentor that doesn’t just tell you what your chart says—it helps you understand it. Instead of reading static reports, you can have a conversation, ask follow-up questions, and explore your chart at your own pace. We also wanted to bridge both Vedic and Western astrology, allowing users to learn from two traditions within a single experience. Building AstroMentor was an iterative process. We started with a simple AI chat, but quickly realized that generic AI responses weren’t enough. The AI needed to understand the user’s actual birth chart, planetary placements, houses, transits, and timing to provide meaningful guidance. That led us to build a chart-aware AI engine that generates responses based on each person’s unique astrological profile rather than generic astrology knowledge. As we continued building, we expanded beyond chat by adding personalized daily guidance, transit tracking, learning paths, and educational explanations so users could not only receive insights but also understand the reasoning behind them. This launch is intentionally a public beta. We know the best products are built with users, not just for them. Our goal is to gather honest feedback, learn how people actually use AstroMentor, and continuously improve the experience before a broader release. We’re excited to see where the community helps us take it next.
