Asset Organizer scans your Figma selection and pulls out every icon, image, illustration, and logo — collapsing duplicates, grouping by category, and cleaning up layer names for dev handoff. Run it again after adding new screens and it only shows what's new. Free, no account, entirely inside Figma.
This is already useful for keeping design files tidy. One thing that would make it even better for my team is if it could also detect and flag unused local components or styles that aren't referenced anywhere in the selection. That would help us clean up our libraries during handoff without having to manually hunt through the assets panel.

one thing that would make this a no-brainer for me is letting me tag or label assets during the scan, like marking something as deprecated or wip, so the dev handoff list already has those notes baked in instead of me adding them in a separate doc

It would be amazing if you could export the organized list as a CSV or JSON file. Right now I have to manually copy each category to share with my PM, and being able to hand off a structured file straight from the plugin would save a ton of time.

The incremental scan that only flags new assets is genuinely clever, runs it way less wasteful than re-sorting the whole board each time. Clean choice to keep the whole thing local too, no signups really respects how designers actually work in Figma.
Ran it on a messy file and it actually caught all the duplicate logos I kept reusing. The diff view on repeat runs is a nice touch, saves me from hunting through 50 layers.
Love how it only flags what's new on re-runs instead of dumping the whole library on you every time. The duplicate collapsing by category is a really thoughtful touch for handoff.
