You can spend months building an app, then find out at launch that the keywords you needed are impossible to rank for - while easy, high-demand ones slipped by. ASOApp shows you this before you build: keyword difficulty, traffic and opportunity by country, autocomplete with estimated searches, competitor keywords, a metadata builder and rank tracking. Validate demand first, then build for keywords you can actually win. Free, no account.
Hey Product Hunt,
I build small iOS apps on the side, and every time I wanted to figure out which keywords to target, I hit the same wall: the good ASO tools are expensive, and even basic keyword research is locked behind a signup and a subscription. For someone shipping a side project, that felt backwards.
So I built ASOApp - a free iOS ASO tool that needs no account. You paste an app or a keyword and get difficulty, traffic and opportunity by country.
It started as a tiny keyword-difficulty checker for myself. But research is only half the job, so it grew: real App Store autocomplete with estimated searches, a metadata builder with live character counts, competitor teardowns (their keywords + the recurring complaints in their reviews), and rank tracking over time.
It's free, and I'd genuinely love your feedback. If you do ASO: what's the one number or feature you always wish these tools had? I'll build the best suggestions.

The autocomplete with estimated searches is genuinely useful, that kind of upfront keyword validation should save a lot of indie devs from launching into impossible rankings.
