Scammers target older adults every day with fake toll texts, "grandma, it's me" calls, bank-fraud alerts and gift-card demands. Most of us find out only after the money is gone.AskFirst gives your parent one simple place to check before they click, call back or pay. They paste a text, snap a screenshot or describe a call, and in seconds AskFirst says, in plain words, whether it looks like a scam and exactly what to do next. If it's risky, you get alerted, so you can step in before any money moves.

My own parents have been scammed more than once. Each time, the message looked completely real: a "bank" text, an urgent call, a request to pay right away. By the time they told me, the money was already gone. They weren't careless. Scammers are just very good at creating panic and pressure.
I kept thinking that if they had asked me first, I could have stopped it in seconds. But they didn't want to bother me, or they felt embarrassed, or they were told to keep it secret.
So I built AskFirst. It gives them one simple place to check anything suspicious before they click, call back or pay, with a clear answer in plain words. If something looks risky, I get alerted too, so I can step in before any money moves. My parents should be able to use their phones with confidence, and I shouldn't have to worry every time they get a strange text.
What feedback would help most?
Is it simple enough for an older parent? If you help a parent with tech, please try it the way they would and tell me where they'd get stuck.
What scams is your family seeing right now? Send me real examples, with personal details removed, so the checker keeps improving.
Is the family alert useful? What would make you trust it, and is it too many alerts or too few?
Would you pay for the Family plan? And what would make it feel worth it?
