AskData AI started from a problem I kept seeing: valuable business data sits inside databases, but getting answers often requires SQL knowledge, dashboard creation, or help from data teams. I wanted to make data exploration as simple as having a conversation. One of the biggest challenges while building AskData AI was AI infrastructure. Using commercial LLM APIs for every query quickly becomes expensive and difficult to scale for a bootstrapped product.
