Artkiln generates a batch of game art, ranks it, and has a judge sign off with ship, iterate or reject plus a score calibrated to your project's own shipped art. It rewrites the prompt from the fix list and goes again. The winning screen is sliced losslessly into named transparent PNGs that Unity, Unreal or Godot open directly. It runs on your ChatGPT subscription or your own fal key at provider prices, no markup. Live demo in the browser, no signup.

Hi Product Hunt 👋, I'm Vlad and I built Artkiln.
The project starts with a brief: what the game is, the platform, the look, the rules. From that a planner lays out the whole art plan. For The Devil's Club it came back with 12 positions, seven screens, four icon sets and the logo, each with a spec and a ready prompt, and you edit that list before anything is generated. Then each position goes through the loop.
It generates a batch: four candidates by default, one to six if you set it, no cap in the local build. If you haven't settled on a look yet, diversity mode gives each candidate a different take on style or layout instead of four near-copies. A cheap model ranks the batch, no scores, then a stronger model looks at the best one and answers one question: would you sign this off if it went into the live game. Back comes ship, iterate or reject, with a score and up to three blockers. The next prompt gets rewritten around the top fix.
You attach your own shipped screens as references, and the judge is told where those sit, so 8.3 means it's holding up next to your average screen. Two rounds in a row with no measured improvement and the run stops.
Then the winner gets cut up. The card duel screen in the demo project came out as 21 transparent PNGs, each named off its own pixels: Mob boss, Whiskey glass, End turn button. Unity, Unreal and Godot open those directly.
Everything the editor does is a CLI command underneath, and every job shows you the exact command it ran. So you can script a whole run, or hand the pipeline to a coding agent and let it produce art while you work on the game.
On money: it runs on your ChatGPT subscription through Codex, or on your own fal key at fal's list prices. I take no cut and there are no credits to expire. The price sits on the button before you click, and a dry run estimates a job without generating one.
It lives in the browser today, and the demo is read-only with no signup. The local app and the source come at launch: macOS, Linux and Windows.
