Hey! I'm Stefan, Co-Founder and CEO of Artfol. 🎨 Artfol is a platform that provides artists with a safe and positive space for any visual artists to post and share art, engage in meaningful discussions 💬, and participate in community events, such as challenges 🏆. 👩‍🎨 I co-founded Artfol after my experiences of being an artist (both hobbyist and freelance). I've grown an art page on Instagram to over 200,000 followers, and during this time I noticed a lot of discontent from artists being on all the mainstream social networks (Twitter, Instagram, etc). So I set out to create a platform catering specifically towards artists. ❓ But how is this different from ArtStation or DeviantArt I hear you ask. While those platforms focus primarily on showcasing art, we’re building a true social network for artists. That means more ways to connect, share, and engage. In addition to standard social network functions, we’ve added tools built specifically for artists to discover and interact with each other: community challenges, quick reshares (reposts), and support for questions, polls, and more. 🚀 We've scaled Artfol to over 500,000 users, and currently host over 1,000 community created challenges, 2 million artworks and 3 million text posts. This took 3 years but the direction we were headed was not quite right, this is why we are relaunching with a new focus that simplifies the Artfol experience while making it easier than ever to connect with other artists. 💡 I know this isn't quite the platform to reach our target demographic, but I know there are a lot of multi-talented individuals out there who may have a passion for art or do something creative on the side and I'd love to hear what you think!
