artefactFX helps musicians and AI creators check tracks for hidden AI fingerprints and clean them before release. The checker is free to use without registration, and new users get 2 free cleanings. After cleaning, the track still needs mastering before release.
One thing that would help a lot is a built-in loudness target option during cleaning so the track doesn't shift in perceived volume. Most distributors want -14 LUFS, and having that baked into the cleaning step would save a trip to a separate meter.
Dropped a demo track in and the checker flagged a section I honestly couldn't hear the issue in, which was a bit unsettling. Will be running all my masters through this before sending to labels from now on.
ran a demo track through the checker and it flagged some artifacts i honestly wouldve missed by ear, the cleaning pass sounded cleaner without flattening the low end either.
It would be really helpful if the checker included a side-by-side before and after audio preview so I can actually hear the difference the cleaning makes. Right now I can see the fingerprints were removed but I have no way to tell if it affected the sound quality until I export and compare in my DAW myself.
genuinely appreciate that the checker works without forcing a sign-up first, makes it way easier to actually try before committing. the two free cleanings is a nice touch too, basically lets you see if it works on your own stuff.
