Do you just open a google notebook and generate the top ten at some point each day, or is there a program behind it with an implementation of VQGAN + CLIP?

👋 Hello Hunters! For the past few months I've been creating and shipping a new project each month. My August project was project number 5 - Art by an AI. And it's the first one that I'm sharing on PH! Back in early 2020 I got into AI generated art and I wanted to build something with it. But I couldn't decide what to do. I played with different methods of generating images, but still couldn't think of a fun project. Fast forward to just a few months ago, and the VQGAN+CLIP method of generating images blew up. It had far more compelling results compared to previous methods, and I got super excited about the possibilities. After some brainstorming I decided to make something more fun and accessible to people outside of the AI Art community. The result is Art by an AI. It's a daily prompt competition. You submit your own prompts, and vote on the other prompts that have been submitted - not unlike PH. Then, at 12:00 UTC each day, Alice (the AI) creates images for the top 10 voted prompts - using VQGAN+CLIP The day's art pieces are available to purchase as a canvas or a poster print - but only until the next batch is created. After that, they disappear. 🎨 Can't wait to see what prompts you come up with! - Dave

This is taking the requests and then building an art that can be auctioned to folks who upvoted it.

This is a nice concept

There's less than 1 hour until the winners are locked in and the art gets generated for today! There are loads of good prompts, and it's still all to play for!
