Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Carl founder of Argus - An automated testing platform for engineers building hardware products :) Here’s the problem: The current validation process for hardware products involves building software to test that projects work before launch. This process, however, is: ✧ Unscalable (Each hardware component added needs its own software to integrate it into the system) ✧ Time-consuming (Building comprehensive test systems for hardware takes a lot of engineering hours) ✧ Non-collaborative (Testing usually involves writing a lot of data to .csv files on one machine; sharing those test results with other engineers AND managing it all as the product grows is a pain) So: I built Argus to address these issues. Heres how: ◆ Hardware Plugins to let engineers connect and integrate any hardware components as your product grows ◆ Test templates to get you from 0-90% in the click of a button. ◆ Scripting using python-compatible workflows & nodes for 100% customization if you need it ◆ A dashboard to automatically log and visualize test data; letting engineers play back hardware tests like a video, and export the data to a .csv when ready 🎯 Currently have 200 spots open for the Alpha version. Just got hands-on with this tool and it’s a total win for hardware engineers. ⚙️ Being able to plug into any component, run quick scripts, and instantly log and visualize the data is a huge time-saver. The scripting templates make validation way faster, and the Python-compatible nodes give you full control when you need it. If you’re testing hardware regularly, this setup seriously levels up your workflow.
