Hi Product Hunt 👋
Since June 2025, online shops in the EU with 10 or more employees must be accessible (European Accessibility Act). In France the reference is the RGAA, 106 criteria based on WCAG 2.1 AA.
We analysed the homepages of 133 French online shops: not a single one was error-free, and 82% had text too pale to read comfortably.
Araspeed is our answer for the first step:
• paste a URL, the page opens in a real browser, is navigated with the keyboard and tested at 320 px wide;
• 34 criteria are checked by script, with certainty; each error comes with the element, a screenshot and the code to change;
• a ready-made prompt to hand the fixes to your coding assistant;
• free, no sign-up, report online for 30 days.
What it is not: a full audit. Many RGAA criteria need human judgement (is this alt text relevant? is the reading order logical?). Araspeed tells you where to start, and an audit remains necessary for a compliance statement.
The interface is in French for now, since RGAA is a French standard. We'd love your feedback, especially from developers and agencies who build e-commerce sites: what would make this useful in your workflow?
