Review Appsmith?
Reviewers mostly praise Appsmith for making internal tools and dashboards fast to build without boxing users into rigid no-code rules. They repeatedly highlight the drag-and-drop UI, easy connections to APIs and databases, JavaScript and SQL-based logic, external libraries, git sync, and self-hosting. Several say it helps both non-technical teammates and developers ship reporting, CRUD apps, prototypes, and even public dashboards more quickly. Criticism is scarce, but one reviewer says the lack of direct DOM interaction still limits some advanced use cases.

A very powerful tool that takes advantage of native JavaScript. You can quickly switch from maintaining your internal single page applications to building the same Apps on the platform. And it now allows us to import NPM libraries as well.

Internal tools are such a large part of running a company and I love how Appsmith has thought through building out its feature set to help developers become more productive. I run an OSS company @BoxyHQ and love that Appsmith is OSS too.
Been a long-time user of Appsmith and as a backend engineer with most of my time going into building CRUD interfaces, I can't imagine the countless hours it has saved me. In particular, I love how Appsmith connects to my git repos
build some internal apps for myself and clients, also for fast building application over database, as far my experience was incredible, with their generous free plan , we can build custom app without burden to pay server
I kept hitting platform limitations with other no/low-code solutions until I found Appsmith! It's the perfect balance of a no-code UI editor, and low-code (JavaScript) to transform data and add business logic.
The ease of a drag and drop UI, integrations to connect to any API or database, full JavaScript editor with external libraries, git-sync... incredibly powerful.

I've used to create the whole PLG journey in my product. But its missing the possibility of interacting with the DOM, which limits a lot of what can be done.
