I'm Anuka, the founder of AppKade, and I'm excited to share something I've been building from Sri Lanka.

Here's the problem I wanted to solve.

Sri Lanka has talented independent developers building genuinely useful software, but discovering those products isn't always easy. Many developers create great tools without having the marketing resources or visibility to reach the people who need them.

I wanted to create a place where their work could be discovered, explored, and supported.

That's why I built AppKade.

AppKade is a software discovery marketplace focused on products made by Sri Lankan developers.

Here's what it offers:

Discover software: Find business applications, productivity tools, developer utilities, and more.
Human-reviewed listings: Every submission is checked before publication for accuracy and availability.
Direct developer contact: Connect with the people who actually built the products.
Free listings: Developers can showcase their software without paying listing fees or marketplace commissions.
More than apps: Explore AI models, datasets, source code, and software businesses offered by local makers.

We're still at an early stage, and there's plenty more to build.

My long-term goal is to help independent Sri Lankan developers gain visibility beyond their local networks and make it easier for people around the world to discover what they're creating.
