Hi Product Hunt Community, 😺 I'm super excited to introduce AppBlocker. It’s no secret that nowadays our productivity is facing plenty of challenges and distractions. For instance, social media is a major source of distraction and thus can hinder us from successfully completing certain tasks by tempting us to keep on scrolling for a bit longer. How many times do we find ourselves continually scrolling through a social-media platform like Facebook or Twitter or swiping through TikTok in search of new content? We are constantly refreshing social media waiting for updates on something, but sometimes we should stop. We are always online and permanently connected so distractions by social media will occur frequently. Because our cognitive resources are limited, we should definitely try to limit the negative impact of these distractions on our performance, especially when we are trying to get some work done.
