Apache APISIX is a Cloud-Native API Gateway since 2019, and for now, its community also provides Kubernetes Ingress Controller and Service Mesh. Apache APISIX is based on LuaJIT and Nginx (only use Nginx's Network module), it's used by Tencent, Airwallex, etc.

Since my graduation from university in 2019, I started contributing to the Apache APISIX project[2], and now it's more like an ecosystem including API Gateway, Kubernetes Ingress Controller, and Service Mesh.
