Hey everyone! We've launched another one of those job boards that you probably already got tired from. Here's why we think it was important to launch this one: 👉 A lot of the existing remote job boards post openings irresponsibly and that includes ALL the popular ones. How so? Employers or rather their recruiters and hiring managers usually don't really care much about location transparency. They say they are remote, but don't specify from which part of the world (believe me, they are rarely global remote). Or they are remote from one city/country only. Or they do specify city, world region, country, time zone but in fact they are global remote (yeap, happens all the time). And a lot of the job boards don't really try to verify that info and create a chaos of tags and filters that got nothing to do with reality. You select and half of the jobs are San Francisco remote. We analyze everything, we ask around, we talk to companies. Yes we do make mistakes (not that often actually). But we acknowledge that there is a problem and we're fighting with it. 👉 A lot of the job boards are US-oriented. Usually, not on purpose. Again they want to post for people across the globe, but it's just that the US produces a lot of openings and usually they are more visible. Nothing wrong with that really, but people from other countries also exist and also people from the US want to travel and live in other places. We're here for everyone. 👉 A lot of the openings usually come without at least a hint on the salary. Everyone understands that this sucks. Typical situation: you apply, plan your interview, write letters and god knows what, sit through a screening only to realize that they're paying 2-3 times lower than the base that you're looking for. It's the worst. We don't allow that on our platform and give visibility only to companies that are willing to openly post salaries. And there are some gem companies that pay great deals but just not visible. Try it out, bookmark it, visit it once in a while and APPLY LIKE CRAZY. We're not here to conquer the world of hiring.
