AnyTask is built around one idea: the fewer taps between you and your task, the better. No account required, no complexity. Quick capture, an intuitive Sort Mode, natural language scheduling, shared lists with iCloud, and Apple Calendar sync.

I've downloaded probably every popular task app out there. And every single time, I run into the same wall.
You open it, and immediately you're prompted to create an account. Then there's a tutorial. Then you're staring at a sidebar with 12 sections you didn't ask for. You just wanted to write down "pick up eggs."
That frustration is why I built AnyTask.
No account. No sidebar. No gestures you have to memorize. You open it, your lists are right there across the top, your tasks are right below them. Tap a list, type it in. Done.
There's an "Any" list built in for exactly those moments when you just need to write something down and don't want to think about where it goes yet. Remembered you need toothpaste while brushing your teeth? One tap on the lock screen widget, type it in, done. You can sort it out into your Shopping list later.
And when later actually comes and you do feel like organizing, just tap Sort within that βAnyβ list. Sort Mode lets you tap a list, then tap the tasks you want to move into it.Β
If you want to schedule something, just type "Dentist @3pm tomorrow" and tap the suggestion that pops up, then boom, it's scheduled.
And if you share lists with other people, like roommates, a partner, or family, that's built in too. You can send a link the usual way, or if you're right next to each other, just hold your phones together like NameDrop and the list invite pops up on their phone. Once you're sharing, you can see who's crossed off what with their initials right on the checkbox.
I made this for people who just want to write things down and get reminded about them. If you've ever felt like an app was fighting you instead of helping you, AnyTask might be exactly what you've been looking for.
