Hi folks, really excited to share our hard work with you. AnyPerk customers can use the app to use their AnyPerk Perks and Rewards Credits on the go. This is our very first native mobile app, so we were shooting for simplicity and a stable platform from which to build.
Let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Enjoy!
@drewdil Looks great!
Quick Q - have been wondering about mobile for AnyPerk (as a customer) but also thinking about getting in the habit of using this on mobile. How do you think about how mobile will help drive habitual usage of AnyPerk? Of course, the device is always with you, etc. but any other thoughts?
@jasonyogeshshah the first thing I noticed about our analytics after joining @AnyPerk is that most users were logging in and redeeming at work. But I knew, from this old Google study http://www.slideshare.net/smobil..., that a lot of shopping behavior is driven by people watching TV and then reaching for whatever device was closest. We'd been missing out on that critical user habit.
We redesigned the whole site to be responsive in the middle of last year to capture this use case. Today adding on with our first native app.
Now that the platform is out there, we want to notify users based on more contextual redemption experiences: waiting in line at the AMC theatre, shopping at one of our partners, etc.
Thoughts on doing a sms-based auth mechanism? a huge slice of the workforce don't have company emails - perks like those you're offering might have a huge impact on employee happiness / retention for companies without desk-bound workers.
@kgdavis For now, at least, a baseline requirement of our customers is that users have something that resembles an email address, but we can support public email addresses that a company may want to invite.
That said, smoothing sign in is one of my priorities post-launch. We just need to make sure we do so in a way that upholds the level of trust companies have in our service.
