@justbustr This is a refreshing take on a genuinely annoying problem. The constraint you've set—staying focused instead of bloating into a full CRM—actually makes the product stronger. One question: how are you handling the edge cases where people have the same birthday, or where someone's birthday is unknown but you still want to remember them some other way?
@osakasaul Great questions! People having the same birthday is no problem; they will appear on the same day in the list, and you will get two notifications at the intervals you set. As for not knowing someone’s birthday - I do t have a solution for that yet! I do have an option to only capture month and day if you don’t know a birth year, however.
Love the simplicity — birthday reminders are one of those things everyone needs but nobody sets up properly. Does it pull from contacts automatically or is it manual entry? Building a mobile productivity app too and this friction point is always tricky.
@soygus The app puts you in full control, and you have a choice on first addition of: manual entry, pull from Contacts (all or a selection), or import from a spreadsheet (in any format).
