I'm so fucking bored of hearing from the same people and seeing the same faces quoted in roundups, featured in articles, as guests on podcasts, or speaking at conferences. I also know it takes a ton of effort to find new voices with the right subject matter expertise who are open to putting themselves out there publicly. So, rather than continuing to moan about it, I'm working on something to fix the problem. It's called Antiquoted. It helps writers, podcast hosts, and event producers discover diverse new voices with something to say. Find people who are ready to share a fresh perspective on various business topics without the legwork.

@katie_kelly3 should we consider this Medium for new content?
Katie Kelly
@prad_vv You should consider Antiquoted if you need to find business experts to provide comments for articles, guests of podcasts or speakers for events ;)

@owenfar hahah thanks. Really appreciate the support.

Congrats, @katie_kelly3 , on launching Antiquoted! It's refreshing to see a platform dedicated to diversifying voices in the media space. The ability to easily find new contributors and manage responses in one place sounds like a real time-saver for content creators. Excited to see how this evolves and makes it easier for fresh perspectives to be heard. Best of luck with everything!

@djordjevic_nikola Thank you so much. Really hope I can shake things up, help content creators as well as raising up diverse voices!

Recent feature updates: We listened to your feedback. Here's what you can now do on Antiquoted: For Media Peeps: - Search our beautiful contributor database without needing to create a project. Find the link to “Contributor Search” in your main menu. - Invite people who aren’t on Antiquoted to contribute to your article. Use the "Invite external contributor" link on your project and share it on social media or in direct messages. This way all your contributor responses can be managed in one place. For Contributors: - You can manually crop your avatar image if doesn’t auto-crop nicely. - You can add your city to your profile which helps event organisers find you. - We've added a “Neurodiverse” option to profiles as well as allowing you to create your own preferred pronouns. - Going on holiday? You can turn on/off the visibility of your profile. Just go to "My Profile" to find the setting. If you haven't verified your email you won't appear in our contributor database. 😲 If you have a "verify your email" banner stop ignoring it. It won't go away until you do it. If you have more ideas or feedback please drop me a message. I'm listening :) As always, thank you. Katie Kelly Founder, Antiquoted

Is it match making for experts? I don’t know what “changing the faces in business media” means. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Katie Kelly
@derkolstad It is a bit vague isn't it. It's a place for media people (article writers, podcasters, event organizers) to search and find business experts for their content. The focus of Antiquoted is attracting business professionals to share their expertises who haven't in the past or who come from diverse backgrounds. Because right now across business content and events it's typically the same people over and over again.

Great idea and execution, congratulations for the launch 🚀 and bringing this idea to the market

@jai_singhal Thank you! It's not been easy but we're here! Ready to shake things up ;)

This can become a market differentiator, as long as you find a way to maintain its original mission. Not sure how easy that can be, because as soon as you gain traction, the ususal suspects will join and will possibly overshadow antiquoters. I am really curious to see how it will evolve. The idea is there, so I am supporting this. Just one mispeeling I've foundd that you might want to correct at https://app.antiquoted.com/setti...: "If you had to give a talk would would the title be?" Agian, supported and following with much interest.

@fabiosalvadori Thank you! Yes this is constantly on my mind. All my marketing is focused on attracting diverse voices and connecting with communities and groups who support new and diverse voices. Thanks for the spelling spot too!

Awesome to see this launch @katie_kelly3 ! I signed up as a contributor to Antiquoted because I was drawn to its mission: "Find new, diverse experts with something to say on a range of business topics. Uncover people with fresh perspectives and subject matter expertise." What really stands out to me is how Antiquoted helps business professionals like myself get exposure without needing a PR team. It’s an accessible way to share expertise and build a reputation. I've already been featured in one article and can’t wait to contribute more. Plus, I’ll be using the platform to find experts for some of my upcoming articles. I highly recommend any business—media or otherwise—looking for fresh voices to give Antiquoted a go.

@anferneec Thank you so much for promoting and using it! I massively appreciate it.
