Andrea Casarin
Hey, Product Hunt community! 👋 I'm Andrea, the maker of **Annotiquo**. Thanks so much for checking it out! I built Annotiquo to solve a problem that was driving me crazy. As a heavy user of Obsidian for my personal knowledge base, I was constantly frustrated by how difficult it was to get clean, usable notes from online sources. The usual methods were a mess: * Copy-pasting articles resulted in chaotic formatting. * Bookmarking links meant I’d forget why I saved them a week later. * Manually transcribing key points from YouTube talks took forever and killed my focus. I just wanted a simple way to capture the essence of an article or video and get it into my notes. That's why I created **Annotiquo**. It started as a simple Chrome extension for myself: in two clicks, it extracts the core content of a webpage or the full transcript of a YouTube video and converts it into clean, beautiful Markdown. No ads, no sidebars, just the good stuff. From there, I added the feature I was most excited about: **AI-powered summarization**. Now, instead of archiving a 5,000-word article, I can generate a 300-word summary that captures the key concepts. It's completely changed how I learn and process information. I’d be thrilled for you to give it a try: * The **Chrome extension for content extraction is completely free** and even works offline. * Everyone who signs up for the web app gets **10 free credits** to test out the AI summaries, no strings attached. I built this to support the workflows of students, researchers, and lifelong learners who use tools like Obsidian, Notion, or Roam. My goal isn't to replace your system, but to remove the friction of getting high-quality information into it. I'll be here all day to answer any questions and would love to hear your feedback. What do you think? Thanks for the support! 🙏
