Hi Product Hunt! 👋
The big analytics suites try to do everything, for teams with an analyst to run them. AnalyticsTrend does one job and does it deeply: it tells the people who build a product what their users do, and collects nothing about who those users are.
What makes it different:
Everything you ship, in one dashboard. Websites, browser extensions, and mobile, desktop and server apps and games report side by side. Apps send events over HTTP with no SDK, and the app guide has examples in Swift, Kotlin, Rust, C#, JavaScript and Python: https://analyticstrend.com/docs/guide/install-app
No remote code. Conventional analytics snippets fetch their own JavaScript at runtime, so whatever the vendor serves that day runs in your product. AnalyticsTrend is one pinned file the browser checks by its hash, or a package you bundle. What runs is what you installed.
Browser extensions done properly. Installs and uninstalls are counted, and nothing is lost when a service worker goes to sleep. The SDK is bundled, so store review finds no remote code.
Privacy by construction. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no IP addresses kept. Each visitor is a random id within one project, never a person.
The reports you'll actually open. Funnels, journeys, retention, goals with revenue by source, and a Sources report that counts the visitors AI assistants send you.
Ask your own AI assistant. Connect it over MCP with a personal access token and ask "which sources converted best last month?" You can also get your agent to setup your project for you.
Two lines to start. `npm install @analyticstrend/web, then init({ writeKey })`.
It's free until paid plans open, with no card, and every new account then gets a three-month free trial.
The live demo needs no account: https://analyticstrend.com/demo.
I'd love to know what you'd measure first, and what you'd miss coming from a bigger tool.
