Anaconda is the easiest way to get started with more sophisticated data exploration and ad-hoc analysis against your production and analytics data stores without complicated environment setup. Farmstead

Have use both anaconda and enthought canopy and for some reason I like canopy better. That said we should get Wes from datapad.io to chime in
