The AMP Launcher program is software designed to quickly launch and manage a local Apache, PHP and MySQL/MariaDB development environment together with phpMyAdmin. The program lets you instantly start, stop and configure each server with a single click, and also supports an optional Mailpit test mail server. AMP Launcher has extensive settings and features that allow automatic regeneration of server configuration, generation of SSL certificates.
Love how AMP Launcher keeps the whole local stack in one tidy window, start and stop buttons right next to each service with no buried menus. The one-click SSL cert generation is a really thoughtful touch for anyone spinning up test sites daily.
A nice local stack manager, really handy for quick prototyping. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in option to switch between PHP versions per project, similar to how tools like Herd handle it. That would save a ton of manual config edits when juggling older and newer codebases.
One thing that would be really handy is a built in log viewer so I can see Apache, PHP and MySQL output without opening separate windows or digging through folders. A tabbed panel showing each service logs with quick filters for errors would save a lot of time when debugging.
